Becoming Bar or Bat Mitzvah is an exciting time for you and your child. As our children become adult members of the Jewish community, Congregation Anshei Roosevelt is here to guide you through the process every step of the way.
 

Bar and Bat Mitzvah Preparations

Every boy or girl who celebrates this milestone with us will participate in:
 

  • The Bar or Bat Mitzvah group program, with scheduled activities for the year prior to the Bar/Bat Mitzvah date

  • One-on-one tutoring sessions with a tutor, in order to master the skills necessary for the ritual elements of the day

  • Private meetings with the Rabbi to compose a Dvar Torah speech 

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Preparation Fee:

 

Rabbi $50/hr.   
One time building usage/service fee: $500 
One time Rabbi's service fee: $250
